Summer Reading 2023
Reading is the best thing you can do for your child’s education this summer!  Children who do not read can lose a lot of progress over the summer!  This summer the Camden County Public Library has a Summer Reading Challenge! The school that has the most minutes of reading logged will win a trophy and bragging rights!  Just download the Beanstalk app and select CRES to track your reading.  Adults can participate too!  The Summer Reading Challenge begins May 19 and will end July 31.  Weekly updates will be posted on the Camden County Public Library's Facebook page throughout the summer to see which school is in the lead!  Goooo dolphins!

Parents, your input is welcomed!

The purpose of the FY24 CLIP Presentation is to inform parents and community members of the federal programs implemented in Camden County Schools. Each year, the Georgia Department of Education allocates funds to Camden County Schools to support the needs of students. The presentation will provide insight into the programs and solicit input from our stakeholders.

Here is the video presentation and input form. Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Home of the Dolphins and a 2002 Georgia School of Excellence because of their exemplar history of academics, extracurricular programs and community involvement, Crooked River Elementary School (CRES) first opened its doors to students on August 29, 1986.  Named for its proximity to the Crooked River on the northern border of St. Marys, CRES provides a  motivating learning environment for Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade with an average enrollment of 585 students.  Serving students from the Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base and surrounding area, the CRES faculty is composed of approximately 42 certified professionals, 12 paraprofessionals, 3 clerical employees and a registered nurse.

If it is to be, it is up to me. If I believe, I can achieve.
