In celebration of International Dot Day, students in the Visual Arts class showcased their creativity through a variety of dot-making techniques and methods. The visual arts classroom was a vibrant hub of activity as students experimented with different materials and styles to bring their unique dots to life. Some students created dots using marker dobbers, making dots of various colors inside a larger dot. Some students designed their dots and then painted them, while others created concentric circles using oil pastels. Meanwhile, some artists practiced the technique of pointillism, creating concentric circles or using each individual dot to contribute to a larger picture. The more adventurous artists used the marble painting technique to design their dots. Even the younger students joined in on the fun, enthusiastically designing their dots with markers. Their dots were a testament to the joy and creativity that International Dot Day inspires. To cap off the day’s festivities, everyone dressed in dots, creating a lively and colorful atmosphere that celebrated the spirit of creativity and individuality. Every grade had a fantastic time making their mark, and celebrating their imagination and artistic expression!
