Crooked River Elementary -

Last school year we had a service dog in training at Crooked River Elementary, aptly named River, with his puppy trainer and 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Julie Klein. You might remember, the year before, our school voted on what to name this special fur ball, giving him the name River, after our school! Now, River has completed his university training and is ready to make a meaningful impact in the world! We couldn't be prouder of this furry friend who has dedicated his life to helping others. His new role as a guide dog for a young woman with special needs is a testament to the love and care that went into his training right here at Crooked River.
