Crooked River Elementary -

📚✨ Today at Crooked River, to celebrate Black History Month, our students participated in DEAR time (Drop Everything and Read) with library books about famous black Americans. 📖 Students teamed up with older reading buddies to share the joy of reading - 5th graders alongside 2nd graders, 4th graders with 1st graders, and 3rd graders with Kindergarteners. Everyone had a great time immersing themselves in the inspiring stories within the pages. 🌟 This annual event at CRES is a wonderful chance to honor and learn about the impactful contributions of black Americans throughout history! #BlackHistoryMonth #ReadingBuddies #EmpowerThroughKnowledge 📚🌍
