Our first-grade students have kicked off Module 9 - Grow, Plants, Grow! 🌱🌻 We are delving into the world of plants and learning all about what they need to thrive! 🌿📖 Recently, we enjoyed reading "So You Want to Grow a Taco?" by Bridget Heos. 🌮 We had a great discussion about how the author used chronological order to guide us through the steps of growing a taco - helping us understand what to do first, next, and last! Each step is like a building block connecting to the next one! 🌮✨ After reading, our students had a blast creating their own book retelling the steps to make a taco. 📝🥑🍅
