First Grade Field Trip

Our first graders had a blast on their recent field trip to Conner’s A-Maize-ing Acres! The day was filled with hands-on learning and outdoor fun. Students enjoyed a hayride, navigated the twists and turns of a corn maze, and had the opportunity to interact with a variety of farm animals—including cows, horses, chickens, ducks, goats, and sheep. Throughout the trip, students explored how animals and plants meet their basic needs. By feeding animals and observing their environments, they learned that living things need food, water, shelter, and space to survive. It was a wonderful way to connect classroom learning with real-world experiences!
