In celebration of International Dot Day on September 15th students in Visual Arts class created various works of art using dots. Some students created a tree using dot markers making the top of the tree with the dot markers using various colors, all while learning about primary & secondary colors. A group of students made dot art using dot markers while learning about primary and secondary colors. Others created dot art using marbles and the primary colors, watching the colors mix together making secondary colors. Another group of students made various designs with dots by painting with q-tips. The oldest group of students showed their creativity by making tinfoil dots, designing them in their own unique way. As a school all students collaborated to make various dots. To do this each student designed a quarter circle which was then combined with other quarter circle pieces to make a large dot. These were displayed outside the Art/Ag classroom! Every grade had a great time making their mark using dots & various techniques.
