School safety remains our highest priority. Families, we need your partnership in reminding and educating your children about the seriousness of making threats. What may seem like an innocent prank, or simply something said out of anger or frustration, can carry very serious consequences. Every threat, whether real or fake, demands an immediate law enforcement response, disrupts learning, and can result in life-changing legal prosecution.
We take EVERY threat seriously and will continue working closely with the St. Marys Police Department, Kingsland Police Department, and the Camden County Sheriff’s Office to ensure swift and decisive responses to all threats.
The safety of our students and staff will always be our top priority. If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Protecting with Purpose,
Chief Kizzi Knight

Dear Camden Families,
As we kick off the new school year, please note that our transportation schedule may need some adjustments during the first week of school.
What to expect:
• Buses may experience delays as routes are optimized
• Phone lines are experiencing high volume - thank you for your patience
• Route changes will be addressed once all student schedules are finalized
• Additional route adjustments may be needed to address overcrowding
• Schools may hold students inside during unsafe weather conditions
We appreciate your understanding as our transportation team works diligently to ensure the safe and efficient transport of all students to and from school.
Your patience during this transition period helps us provide the best service for our school community!

We had a wonderful and successful Open House!
Thank you for coming.
We know you are excited for the first day of school.
In an effort to establish routines and ensure safety we need your help.
On the first day you are welcome to escort your child to their classroom.
After the first day, our typical drop off procedure is as follows:
• Car rider drop off is behind the school. Please pull all the way forward to avoid congestion in the line.
• Biker/walker students will come through the base gate. The gate is locked promptly at 8:30.
• Children cannot be dropped off in the front of the school building without an adult. If you are coming inside you will enter through the front office.
We look forward to a successful first day and year together!
Thank you,
The River Admin Team
