International Dot Day is a day to encourage people of all ages to harness their creativity. The inspiration behind the event is the children's book "The Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds. The past few weeks students have been working on various activities in art to celebrate Dot Day, which is on September 15th, but since Homecoming Spirit Week is next week, let's celebrate International Dot Day on Monday, Sept. 22nd! Join us and wear your dots on September 22nd!

Our first Kona Ice Day is coming next week! On Thursday, Sept. 18th Kona Ice will be for sale for all students from 10:30-1:30.
• A small kiddie cup is $3.00
• A larger reusable color changing cup is $6.00 with $4.00 refills.
• Students may bring the refillable cup back for a $4.00 refill every Kona Ice Day throughout the school year.
• **We recommend writing YOUR CHILD’S NAME on the refillable Kona Ice cup since many students will have the same cup!
• **Presale for next week’s Kona Ice is due by tomorrow, Sept. 12th. MySchoolBucks will not be used for Kona Days, cash or check made out to CRES can be accepted.
